Fine portraiture, whether family, children, seniors, pets, etc has been a passion for Smiley's Studio for over 50 years. When the previous owner retired, Till Hezel purchased the studio. Over the years Till has instituted an even higher level of customer service and photographic skill benefiting our clientele. He built a state-of-the-art studio and continues the exquisite outdoor portraiture that Smiley's originated in the 1960s. Many photographers today have imitated the "Smiley's technique", but none are quite like the original!

 

The Professional Photographers of America has conferred upon Till Hezel the degrees of Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman, and Certified Professional Photographer.

 

Till has won the prestigious Kodak Gallery award twice. This is the highest recognition given by Kodak for exceptional photography internationally. Six of Till's images have been exhibited in the PPA Loan collection and are permanently recorded in several Loan Collection coffee table books. The PPA Loan Collection is a recollection of the world's best images from international competitions every year.

 

Till is Past Chairman of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce Action Ambassadors, Past President and Treasurer of the Metroplex Professional Photographers Association, and is involved in several communities and business organizations. He is also a past member of the Professional Photographers of America association, and the Texas Professional Photographers Association.
